Since the old forum and website is being wiped clean in a few days, I felt it appropriate to restart this thread. You can say pretty much whatever you want here within the forum's rules, however every post should pertain to you introducing yourself. If you want feel free to use my post as a template.

Please no off-topic posts in this thread, I want to keep it clean for people to peruse to see what our members are like. If you feel the need to reply to something someone said here, there's always the private message system, or even adding people to an instant messenger if they put that info in their profile.

A Bad Habit You Have: Some people tell me I'm too logical in my approach to problem solving, but I'm yet to have it steer me wrong.

Likes to nibble on: I am a huge sugar addict... anything sweet. I could live on candy bars... but as far as the real food stuffs... Japanese, Italian... pretty much anything that isn't bland and nasty.
Tunes: I used to be a strict advocate of purely rock music... but Ami has gotten me into a lot of different stuff like pop... still love rock though. And of course any kind of J-music. Some of my favorie bands: Coheed & Cambria, The White Stripes, The Pillows, Love & Peace (Vibribbon soundtrack ftw!), and Hatsune Miku renditions. xP
Anime: I always have to say FLCL because that Gainax work has always been a huge inspiration to me. Also, Haruhi is great and just about anything funny or moe *cough*Strike Witches*cough-cough*
Manga: Manga is good because I can read it at Work. Currently I am working my way through XXX-Holic, DNAngel, Combat Butler Hayate, and Robot. God, I love Robot because it's so free-range and experimental.
Anime Roots: Without knowing it, I've enjoyed anime my whole life. I remember finding the Puss in Boots movie by Toei in a bin in K-mart when I was little. Then, there was G-Force and Speed racer... then Sailor moon. By that time, Toonami was huge and DBZ ruled. So I can blame a lot of it on Toonami.
Random Fact: I prefer to use Photoshop for word-processing tasks such as making the fliers and pamphlets. It just gives me more control over the layout and seems much more suiting to me.
Habbits: I don't bite but I chew my nails. That and I have a hard time staying on task. I think I have undiagnosed ADD.

Other Info: I know I am a bit older then most of the people on here but dont worry I am not some weirdo or anything. You are never too old to enjoy anime right . I have been in several anime clubs in the past, including ODUAC (Old Dominion University Anime club located in norfolk. Virginia) and have been active in all of them. I also like to play dice rpgs and am able to run and play them. I have several source books I can use should a game get started.
