So I've been reading the Twilight series recently...
At first I was really apprehensive about reading them, because of their extreme popularity and such, but they turned out to be very good! Very absorbant xD.
I was wondering if anyone else had read, or at least heard of them ^.^.
(Btw: Edward deserves to be kicked in the head xD)
Twilight series? Give me some actual book titles or an author. Not entirely sure what you're talking about.
It's called the Twilight series because the first book (Of four) was titled Twilight.
The books were written by Stephanie Meyer and go as follows: Twilight, Eclipse, New Moon, Breaking Dawn. The covers are infamous for having the colors black, red, and white in some form or fashion.
The series is basically about a 17 year old girl who moves to a rainy town in northern Washington, called Forks. Upon moving there she falls in love with a vampire, and as the series progresses becomes torn between the vampire, and her best friend, who is a werewolf, thus causing tensions.
Like E, I was also VERY apprehensive and didn't read the books until the first one was practically shoved down my throat.
But after reading them, I was completely drawn in and came to love them.
It really is an awesome series and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a little vampire love action goin' on.
Sounds a bit cheesy and melodramatic by that description, but I'll give them a look at some point.
Fantasy/romance type stuff. It's pretty interesting from what little I have read. A slightly different, more contemporary twist on vampires and werewolves.
If its anything like Laurell K. Hamilton's recent books, I will mock you all for liking it.
It's not random supernatural smut, I promise.
It's actually a clean series... I've read up to book three and it's just mild lust and slight kisses.
I can't promise you will enjoy them, but I can promise it's better than those books. *shudder*

Sorry about being so vague, I just kind of assumed most people'd heard of the series already x.x. If I would have thought I'd have included author name and such.
And thanks much Autumn for explainin, with nice synopsis and all x3. And I'm realla glad I'm not the only one who's read the series, since all the hype did paint it out to be silly.
Friend is definately right, they're not smut books so no worries there.
