Toradora! Is a romantic comedy about the exploits of a misunderstood teen who inadvertently falls in love with a fierce but shy girl who uses her fists more often than her words and is equally misunderstood. With so many complicated family issues how will these two ever make it?

We join Ryuji, a teenager with an unfortunate circumstance. He inherited his father's fierce looks which cause him to be misunderstood by his fellow classmates who label him as a "delinquent". Ryuji lives with his mother Yasuko, now single, who works late as a bar maid. Though he lives with his mother, Ryuji does all of the household chores including cooking, cleaning and even taking care of the family pet, a seemingly defective parakeet named "Inko-chan". He is also quite obsessive about cleanliness and declares mold as his "nemesis". His relationship with his mother is quite a role reversal as Ryuji usually ends up scolding Yasuko or correcting her mistakes. Yasuko constantly tells her son how much he is like his father, much to the chagrin of Ryuji who despises his father for giving him such an unfortunate visage.

We soon find that Ryuji has a love interest. An outgoing and quirky girl named Minori. Her extreme personality catches our protagonist's attention early on and, despite being shy, Ryuji is determined to eventually express his feelings. Upon walking carelessly to class one day, however, he bumps into a very small and frail girl. Dubbed “Palmtop Tiger” by fellow classmates, Taiga is small but fierce as she clocks Ryuji square in the chin, knocking him to the ground making her dramatic appearance. A second encounter with the fierce Taiga happens when Ryuji forgets his bag in the classroom due to after school duties. Upon entering the classroom Ryuji is jumped by Taiga once again, who had been hiding in the class storage for she had mistakenly left a love letter meant for their classmate, Kitamura, in Ryuji's bag, unbeknownst to him.

After escaping from the crazed Palmtop Tiger, Ryuji makes it home safely, only to discover that an “assassin” is waiting for him. Taiga jumps him with a wooden sword threatening to give him a memory erasing blow so he forgets the incident. Ryuji barely escapes certain destruction by telling Taiga that the letter envelope was empty. He then relates to Taiga by showing her his collection of things with which to confess for Minori. With this, he comes to an understanding with Taiga and they agree to help each other with their respective love confessions, though reluctantly on the part of Taiga who refers to Ryuji as her loyal dog at this point. This moment starts a very unique relationship between the unlikely pair as they attempt to help each other realize their unrequited love, develop new relationships and discover that some things in life take you by surprise.

How will the story develop? Will Taiga and Ryuji ever confess to their crushes or is something else developing between these two misunderstood youths? Watch this heartwarming series to see things develop in this bittersweet high-school life.

I just purged about 15 accounts from the forums for being bots and/or spammers. Unfortunately, since this was a fairly large operation, I may have accidentally caught a real person in the crossfire (I doubt it, but hey, I'm only human). If you are interested in our group and your account was deleted, I do apologize. Feel free to recreate your account and when you do, make sure to send me a private message letting me know. 95% of the people I deleted were suspected spammers because of links in the signature (specifically if that's all that was in the signature and it linked to some sort of product). The other 5% were people who were not activated and had had less than 30 seconds online (typically a strong indicator of a bot).

Again, apologies if you got caught in the crossfire.

Once finals are over for me I'm going to see what I can do about tightening the ability to sign up to make it harder for spambots to make it to the forums. If they continue to sign up for our forums, I will resort to banning full IP ranges. I don't wish to do this, but there's only so much we can deal with.

I rented the new Super Mario Brothers for the wii this weekend just to check it out. I was pretty excited since this was a new 2D Mario game.

So far I've played the hell out of it xD. It's weird to play Mario with the wiimote and that's really the only complaint I have so far. Also if you fail at a level too many times it offers you something called the 'super guide' where you can see the level played through or practice yourself, though the demo doesn't show all the hidden goodies in the level. It does come in handy, but I kinda felt that was making things too easy >>.

Anyway, another cool feature is that this is multiplayer. You can actually play with up to 4 people. I do plan to pick this up sometime soon, and I'll probably bring it to the next meeting for everyone to check out =D (if I can afford to get it before then.)
